As SVP Sales and Marketing at a start-up banking software company, he and his team rapidly dominated their market niche.
A leader in advisor development, Dave created, organized and led an innovative advisor training and development program teaching best practices in asset allocation, client acquisition and compliance issues attended by over 500 advisors from across the USA. Dave is a widely respected public speaker and writer on industry issues. Before joining Sofos, Dave was President of a $350M RIA in San Francisco.
Dave brings a challenger’s mentality to business, and enjoys competing with the largest and most entrenched firms as he has done both in advisory and in banking software. One of Dave’s start ups was acquired by a public company, and another by a Private Equity firm.
Dave is a graduate of the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. He is a long time resident of Marin County, California, where he raised his children and enjoys all that Northern California has to offer with his wife, Christine.
